ISATRE Awards

Every year, the Indian Society of Agricultural Science and Technology for Rural Empowerment (ISATRE) recognises excellence in agricultural and allied sciences. These awards honour individuals and institutions whose research, innovations, and field-level contributions have improved the lives of farmers, promoted sustainable development, and created new pathways for rural empowerment. The awards are open to researchers, scientists, students, extension professionals, and innovators from all over India.

Best Research Paper Award

Awarded for outstanding publications in reputed journals that demonstrate innovation, practical application, and impact in agriculture and rural development. Both solo and collaborative works are considered.

Best Thesis Award (M.Sc / Ph.D)

Recognises high-quality academic work at postgraduate and doctoral levels. The thesis must contribute to new knowledge and provide meaningful solutions for the farming community.

Young Scientist Award

Dedicated to early-career researchers who have shown remarkable promise in scientific research, innovative project development, or technology dissemination. It motivates the younger generation to take leadership roles in science.

Best Extension Scientist Award

Celebrates the efforts of professionals who bring agricultural knowledge to the grassroots through field demonstrations, capacity-building programs, and farmer-to-scientist interactions.

Women Scientist Award

Recognises the invaluable contributions of women scientists who are breaking barriers in agricultural and rural research, inspiring future generations through their leadership and dedication.

Scientist Associate Award

Presented to researchers and professionals who have consistently contributed as collaborators, mentors, and knowledge partners in advancing rural science and agricultural empowerment.

Application Process

The application process is completely digital. There is no application fee for submission. However, if selected for an award, a processing charge of ₹5,000 will be applicable. Applicants are required to fill out the digital form, upload their photograph and signature, and attach supporting documents before submission.
